Fort Verde Days
|
The town of Camp Verde celebrates Fort Verde Days on the second weekend in October each year. Fort Verde was a base for General Crook’s U.S. Army scouts and soldiers in the 1870s and 1880s. Fort Verde Days is part county fair and part historical reenactments.

This John Deerte tractor was parked for so long that a tree grew up through it. Part of the tree trunk has been incorporated into the resotraiton.
